Recyclops is the WORLDS BEST RECYCLING APP! Lets Make Recycling Easy Again!
The goal of Recyclops is to allows all users to accurately recycle trash by taking photos of their trash and having it automagically sorted. Many of the recyclables collected across the U.S. contain items that are not recyclable, otherwise known as contaminants. These contaminants result in a lot of recyclables going into the trash and not being recycled.
Many people, including myself, have not been properly educated on what is and isnt recyclable. Furthermore, recycling incorrectly can hurt the recycling streamline or result in some recyclable items making their way to landfills (which is bad :( ).
If we can reduce the amount of contaminants in our single-stream recycling with Recyclops, then the state of recycling countrywide will be much purer than it has ever has been!
